When you’ve run out of words
You’re not alone. Something deeper is at work.
Some days the problem isn’t even that you don’t believe… you’re just too tired to find the words. Or the words you do find feel hollow, like you’re reading lines from someone else’s script. You say “I trust You” and wait to feel it. You don’t.
You know what? That is still prayer. The woman in Luke 15 didn’t stop searching just because she hadn’t found the coin yet. The psalms are full of people mid-search, mid-doubt, mid-dark who still talk to God, if only to say where are You?
That reaching, even if it feels like fumbling, is not the absence of faith. It may be faith at its most honest. And honest is exactly where He meets people.
