And exhaustion makes complete sense
You pulled the covers over your head, hoping the world and its complications might float away… if only for a few hours. It didn’t work. It rarely does anymore. Somewhere in the dark, between the interruptions and the inventory of everything tomorrow requires, you wondered if God is still paying attention to your actual life.
The exhaustion you’re carrying isn’t a character flaw or a faith failure; it’s the honest weight of a life that costs more than you anticipated. David didn’t write the psalms from a place of sufficient sleep and managed expectations. He wrote them completely tired, surrounded by enemies, undone. And somehow the Spirit preserved those prayers as Scripture, which means your weariness is not outside God’s vocabulary (or plan).
You don’t need to perform your way back to peace. You need to be found where you actually are.
The guided reflection will take a few minutes, but in return, you will be given an excerpt from the book that precisely addresses where you are, a truth to ponder, and a prayer. The next steps, including whether to provide an email address to receive Walking in Lantern Light, is completely up to you.
